Unfortunately, they tell five people, and those five people tell them where to go. For the majority of people, this degree of rejection is enough to make them give up completely.

Few people have the persistence to keep arguing their point even after they've been turned down.

And even those few people who do persevere won't get the results they want because the system they have joined is missing one or more of the six factors that make a home company successful.

Although, unlike many of my mentors, I haven't been in this profession for decades, I've had enough experience in a short amount of time to know which strategies work and which don't.

I learned about the home business sector for the first time at a convention. The subject of applying for and receiving government grants and loans was being discussed by a presenter who was seated at the front of the room. He questioned the audience, "Who here would want to understand how I actually broke away from my profession as a garbage guy and became financially free?" as the event was coming to a close. It seemed to be quite an exciting occasion.

Naturally, the majority of the crowd raised their hands, and he proceeded to talk about his own company after that.

A few people in the audience soon began muttering, "Oh, it's," after listening for more than thirty minutes to the breakthrough products and how they would replace the majority of the common cleaning and self-care products in your home. I won't say the name of the company here, but it is one of the best-known in the network marketing industry.

By eliminating the sign-up fees and allowing anyone who was interested to get started for just $1, he created an alluring offer. He made this offer to everyone who was considering doing business with him. Even more, he promised to help us form our teams by promising to work with anyone who was serious about doing business with him.

We joined the company and made an initial stock purchase since we thought it had great potential. My wife. After a few months of receiving a sizable check for only $2 while paying about $100 a month to maintain our distributor position, we made the decision to leave the company.

To be totally honest, neither did we make any attempt to grow the business. What I do know is that the two people who have had great success in that industry speak from the stage, and it seems as though they create an audience of hundreds of people rather than holding milk and cookie parties like they advise their employees to do.

My latter venture into the world of home-based businesses turned out to be much more insightful. The goal of this campaign was to sell pricey core products. It was a vacation package that cost over three thousand dollars. The guarantee was that you would earn four times as much if you brought on only 12 more employees!

The fact that we were directed to use the phrase "I can't tell you what it is; you just have to come and see" in response to anyone we asked to see the presentation as soon as they inquired about it should have raised a red flag.

I find it amazing that people who worked for that company were able to earn thousands of dollars in such a short period of time. Despite my best efforts, I was only able to barely break even on my initial investment, while they had people making six figures in their first year. Six-figure incomes were being made by some after just one year.

I've made the decision to quit conducting business the way I always have, which is why I'm so excited to share with you today the six elements that make home businesses successful. I'm doing this to save you some of the hassles and challenges I've had in the past.

The Most Important Factor in the Success of Home Businesses

#1.To be successful, you need a product that brings in a lot of money in commissions.

Finding a product that pays high commissions is the most important first step to making money with a home business. Unless a person is able to attract enough people to create a downline large enough to support a small country, the commissions offered in the home business sector are typically just too low for someone to live off of them full-time. Some of my mentors were making only a few thousand dollars a month while spending their days engaged in three-way talks with teams of between 5,000 and 10,000 people.

Your degree of success in the field of home businesses may be significantly impacted if you find a product that offers commissions of between 30 and 70%. Even better is that the commissions will be paid out immediately rather than in a few weeks or months. Because people are eager and want results right now, they often give up before they've even started.

#2.The cost of your products must be affordable to the average consumer.

The initial product should be affordable for the general population. You will have a much greater chance of selling your products to people who have what my coach refers to as "under the radar money." This purchase can be made by a married person who wants to prevent a major financial fight with their spouse without spending more than about $200. The excuse that one "needs to talk to my wife or husband first" is one of the most frequently used justifications for not wanting to launch a home-based business. The vast majority of customers will be able to make the purchase on their own and won't need to ask their spouse or partner first if your core product, for instance, costs between $25 and $197.

Your next goal when a consumer decides to purchase something for the first time should be to sell them the most expensive version of that item that still makes sense to them. You should be aware that they understand what I said. No matter how badly things are in shape, you shouldn't try to make the most sales. Your goal is to help them accomplish their goals and to offer them the quality of items that will be most helpful to them in doing so.

#3. Individuals must be able to make a profit in little more than a month.

One of the main reasons people who first enter the home business market fail is because they don't have any accomplishments within the first few weeks. If you want your home business system to have a long shelf life, it must enable individuals who plug it in and use it to succeed in 30 days or less. If they are able to realize profits reasonably quickly, they will remain devoted customers for the rest of their lives. People will then give up and move on to other alternatives in the event that they are unable to locate something that satisfies their wants.

The fact that not everyone will even attempt to reach their objectives means that not everyone will be successful. It's very strange. People will give off the impression that they are genuinely motivated and fired up, but they will disappear without ever taking the first step toward starting a great home business. You can't change it about yourself; it's just a characteristic of being human. Focus your efforts on supporting those who are currently acting.

The Fourth Important Aspect of a Lucrative Home Business

#4. Your offering must include upsells and higher-ticket products if you want someone to be able to make the most money in the quickest amount of time.

Offering a basic product at a low cost is great for helping people get started, but making $5, $10, or even $50 won't significantly improve your financial situation. You need to be able to earn commissions on more expensive products if you want to have a home business that is actually successful.

If you have the ability to sell items for $500, $1,000, or even $3,000, you may be able to work part-time and make a full-time income. You might transition from earning money for lunch to earning enough from a part-time job to support yourself full-time if you just make one or two sales of these kinds of items.

A sizable segment of the home business industry faces a big issue because of this. People will be drawn in by a charismatic presenter who has a way with words that just captivates them. Many businesses have made DVDs and movies that their distributors can sell, but research has shown that this doesn't turn viewers into customers very well.

To succeed in the home business market, you must have access to corporate networks that can promote and sell your product or service for you. This is essential so that anyone entering the sector can quickly start to generate results by just sharing the video with others. None of you will be successful if the corporate videos don't convert viewers into paying clients.

To start, most people won't even bother making a list, and if they do, they won't bother calling the people they include on the list. Only a few people will reach out to everyone on their list; of the roughly 100 people they will contact, only a few will accept their invitation to participate.

The next issue is, "What do we do now?" How can you continue to grow your business if you've already told everyone you know about it but only a small number of people are interested in what you have to offer?

It's a terrific way to meet new people and develop new relationships to ask people as you walk around Walmart whether they keep their business options open. I really hope that's not on your to-do list.

If you want people looking for what you have to offer to find you when they search for it, you need to educate yourself on marketing strategies. Yes, it is doable, and the tactic employed to make it happen is called attraction marketing. You'll quickly run out of people to talk to if you're operating a home business and aren't including attraction marketing techniques into your daily routine.

In the 1970s and 1980s, home-based businesses were essentially unheard of, but those years are long gone. Currently, almost everyone either has past experience in the industry or knows someone who has. These old strategies still work, but not nearly as well as they used to, and they have never worked as well as attraction marketing.
