If you're spending 99% of your time with people who are doing nothing substantial with their lives or just wasting it away every weekend with a bottle then it's going to be extreeeeeemely difficult to stay focused on your goals.
And I'm not gonna lie, it's tough as shit not to just be tempted into following the same path as everyone else instead of making your own. I too was guilty of this.

It took me years before i discovered why i was so unhappy with the people i spent my time with, but eventually I realized that it was because I was meant for more than just wasting my life away dying for the weekend.
And that's the sad part as well.
So many people are miserable with the way they're living but they just don't have a strong enough mind to cut away from the pack and do what they truly want to. It's why so many people don't end up living up to their potential in life.
I know for a fact that if i didn't make the decision to quit my old job, cut away from all of my old friends and really get focused on what I truly wanted out of life, I’d probably still be miserable as hell.

And it was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make, especially when you're young and have “friends” around you constantly telling you how much of a mistake you're making, how much you're going to regret it in the future etc. but I was strong enough to do it anyway and it ended up being the best decision I’ve made in my life. God knows where I would've ended up if i didn't.

So my point is, don't be afraid of turning your back on the crowd to achieve what you really want to in life.

Don't listen to the millions of people telling you that you're wrong, that you're going to fail, that it's going to be a waste of time etc. because i guarantee you, they know NOTHING of what you're really capable of.

And you'll be much happier building your own empire instead of just building someone else's?
