See if there are other videos on page 1. If there is little or no competition, use that keyword. If there is a lot of videos on page 1, play with the keywords until there are no more than 2 videos on page 1 of Google. 2. Give your video file a keyword-oriented title before you upload it to YouTube. 3. Create a title that will grab your target customer's interest, and include a relevant keyword in the title. I will show you how to get inside your customer's mind when you subscribe to my IM Trends magazine. 4. In your Video Description field, include . . . a. The main link you want people to click on the first line. b. Put your video title on line 2. c. Include an interesting summary of your video. Write it to provide useful information to viewers and promise more information via links embedded in your description. Use curiosity or juicy promises to get people to click your links. d. Include links to your Facebook Fan Page, other social media pages, and your blog if you have one. 5. Pick 5 or 10 tags that represent the content of your video, and be sure to use the tags in the video description text. Tags are just keywords that relate to your video topic. 6. Add your video to a playlist on the same topic or niche. If you don't have a playlist, create one, and add more videos to it later. 7. Upload an interesting thumbnail with a filename that matches one of your tags. And of course, the #1 most important thing you must do is make sure your video delivers quality information that is useful or entertaining for people in your niche. |
