As you may know Steemit is a blockchain-based platform. The main idea behind this is that you get paid for writing articles and posting them on the Steemit platform.

Now Steemit works with Steem which is a CryptoCurrency somewhat like Bitcoin, you're payments are made with Steem and you then change this Steem to Bitcoin and from there you then change it to whatever currency you require through an exchange.

The system works with votes, which are like Facebook likes, the more votes you get the more money you make, but take into account that people here are divided into whales, dolphins and minnows, with the whales being people who have a very large amount of Steem and therefore a vote from one of these guys is worth much more than a dolphin vote and a dolphin vote is worth more than a minnow.

You will start as a minnow and will grow according to what you publish and the votes you get, you can also of course invest money buy some Steem and increase your voting power.

Now this is not easy money you have to work and many people get discouraged when things don't work out so well for them at the start, but please if you do start keep it up, I have never made any money online and I can assure you with Steemit I have made about 1200 dollars, and I am a lousy writer.
