I remember chatting up this beautiful girl at a party back in college. At the time I already started mastering pick up art so I was pretty darn smooth. Way smoother than most dorks crowding the bar that night. Yet, I got nothing. I knew I was doing it right. I was saying all the right things. Things that were supposed to get her all over me. But she didn’t bite. She just kept smiling mysteriously anytime I pulled out another ninja pick up line. When I finally gave up and went looking for the bathroom, my friend comes over and says, “dude, you know that chick you’ve been hitting up on for half an hour is a lesbian, right?” Ouch! No wonder I couldn’t convert her lol. There’s a huge lesson here for you, my friend. Even the slickest pitch, a no brainer offer and most shocking risk-reversal won’t help you get more sales, if you’re marketing to the wrong crowd which has zero interest in what you got.
