What a lifestyle change

How did I do it ???

I undertook the search a couple of years ago for an income from a business that did not require my direct involvement every day.

I had retired from my profession, travelled extensively then wanted to settle down and refill the money coffers.

(Being in Antarctica on a photo expedition, as an example, was a lovely and enjoyable drain on the reserves!)

An online business was very attractive to me for the obvious reasons -

freedom of time, movement and location- from home.

So, I began the “quest”.

And the outcome -

I have worked on many online business opportunities that have ranged from pathetic to successful and I have learnt some very, very important lessons on that journey.

The lessons were -

Plan ahead – have a strategy
Safety first
Do not be greedy
Find a successful team and
Follow the leaders who have tried and tested the opportunities and are transparent with their evaluation
Make regular withdrawals into personal bank accounts. (not endlessly compounding positions but really testing and staying in control by making regular withdrawals
Diversify

I now practice these axioms and I am showing some very satisfying success in 4 different businesses.

I am successfully banking money regularly and moving steadily forward.

With 3 of them my daily involvement is not mandatory –

NO daily tasks.

The businesses are PASSIVE & HANDS OFF

And in one of those businesses I have withdrawn more than

$10K a month

Let me share how I am utilizing the lessons I learnt -

Strategy

I have a definite strategy.

The strategy includes a clear entry point, the choice of a comfortable amount to initially test the opportunity, regular test withdrawals, how & when to reinvest and when to exit

You can use it as a guide for you to create a template and create and modify yourself.

Safety first

Safety links in with strategy, teamwork and diversity. The preservation of our money/ investment is paramount.

The goal is to increase income and preserve it.

The internet can be vicious and cruel in taking your money.

All businesses whether they be traditional, bricks & mortar or online have risks. That is why these lessons are so important to heed.

Do NOT be Greedy

This is sooooo important. And I know it. I had compounded the growth in a business which was blowing my mind with the growth and then it disappeared just as I was reaching my greedy target – sunk without a trace.

It was a difficult lesson but one learnt well and so I added it to my criteria -

True success is actually getting your hands on your money and having is securely it in your own bank account.

Be part of a team

Find a successful, sharing, transparent team and follow the leaders.

Find a mentor – someone with a proven demonstrable record of success and is prepared to share in a transparent way

There is no need to break new ground. I am not too ashamed to acknowledge and follow others who are more successful than me and have already forged the path to follow.

This has been central to my success. Access to such a team and mentor is available to you.

Diversify

Diversification will help give safety and security. Not having all proverbial eggs all in the one basket.
