In 2002 when my divorce was finalized I immediately fell in the legal system and began paying what fathers like myself know as child support. At the time my son was 1 ½ years old and so I knew I had 16 ½ more years of child support payments to go.Now, don’t get me wrong!, I love my son and there is nothing in this world I wouldn’t do for him. All I want for my son is for him to be happy, to be healthy and to have a good life. Sadly to say, the other side of the coin can be unfair and frustrating for many hard working fathers. This side of coin is specifically about the women who get greedy and see this as an opportunity to make an extra dollar, loving the idea of living out of child support. This is very unfortunate and there are many fathers going through this in the state of Florida. I know this because It happened to me. Believe me when I say: The Florida Legal System SUCKS for men! This is the reason why... Almost every year or two my ex-wife took me to court to check my finances to increase child support payments. Whenever I got a job in a company the Department Of Revenue (a.k.a DOR) would request the court an Income Deduction Order. Basically the DOR would garnish a part of my check and sent it to my ex-wife. My paycheck became smaller and smaller to the point that I had no money left over to take my son out to see a movie or play miniature golf like we used to do. Right around that time I began looking for a way to make extra money that would not be garnished by the DOR. For years I searched and searched but no luck. After trying various ways on selling stuff on eBay, doing freelance work as a comic book illustrator and in construction, I finally found the solution… -It all started with just $1 dollar.
