The importance of understanding what "Good Quality Targeted" means in relation to Traffic
Published by Pete Kward — 09-19-2018 03:09:22 AM
Traffic is no different to any other purchase, you get what you pay for
OK, let's get the really bad news out of the way first:
- There is no such thing as free traffic, it always costs you, either in money or time and effort.
- How much you pay is not always reflected in the quality of what you receive, in fact sometimes you get better quality from the less expensive option.
- It's incredibly difficult to identify the quality of traffic until you have tried it.
So what is "Good Quality Targeted Traffic"?
In simple terms, it is genuine real live people from the appropriate demographic who really are interested in your offer and can afford to purchase it.
It is your responsibility to accurately define your target demographic, and your traffic vendor's responsibility to send your chosen number of visitors who meet the above definition.
However, a word of caution if purchasing traffic, please be guided by your sponsor/upline etc in the selection of a vendor, but always start small and closely monitor your results. In fact I would recommend applying this "Start Small and Monitor Results" strategy with numerous vendors until you have a clear winner in terms of reliability and return on investment.
Once you have that solved it's time to increase the volume.
Also keep in mind, if you change your offer, you may need to redefine your target demographic, and if so you should re-start your "Start Small and Monitor Results" process, because your new offer may work better with a different vendor.
In my next post I'll explore another vital aspect of getting started.
Until then: "Remain active, focused and persistent."
With sincerity

About Pete Kward
Hello, I'm Pete K a semi-retired beef cattle farmer, retail business owner, and online entrepreneur. I live in the southwest corner of Australia (land of sunshine, opportunity and warm friendly people). My wife and I have 3 adult sons, one of whom lives in Ireland, so we like to visit him and his family at least once every year. I've been online for several years and have enjoyed some success on a number of occasions, still haven't made a fortune, but I believe I'm currently getting close. I'm not great at social media, but I do like to develop genuine friendships.
