The Real Challenge

As stated earlier, I have experienced the highs and lows of this business, I've made a few good decisions and a lot of mistakes. In the process I have learnt a few important truths:

  1.  You are doomed to failure without good quality targeted traffic in very large numbers.
  2.  There are very few totally honest people in the online business world.
  3.  Only a tiny percentage of the products and business opportunities being promoted today will still be around in 12 months.
  4.  It is incredibly difficult to identify the good ones in 2 & 3 above until you have invested a lot of time and money.
  5.  Because of the above it is very difficult and frustrating.
  6.  Despite the above, it can be done, and when done right it is unbelievably rewarding in every sense.

I have dealt with Important Truth #1 in a previous post, today I will address 2, 3 & 4 which I have lumped together as they represent what I call the "Integrity Issue" which is the biggest blight on the Internet Marketing business and exists right across all forms of this otherwise exciting and rewarding business.

The "Integrity Issue" is the biggest obstacle to achieving success and is something that must be identified, confronted and overcome by anyone wanting to make a long term residual income.

Start out by believing and trusting no-one.

It all comes down to the ability to really know and understand who and what you are dealing with, and the secret here is to proceed cautiously, only investing modest amounts of time and money whilst you become familiar with the people and products.

Let's now move on to #5.

This is the turning point, if you can work your way through  the difficulty and frustration of finding the right people and the right product or service then your reward comes in #6.

Hello, I'm Pete K a semi-retired beef cattle farmer, retail business owner, and online entrepreneur. I live in the southwest corner of Australia (land of sunshine, opportunity and warm friendly people). My wife and I have 3 adult sons, one of whom lives in Ireland, so we like to visit him and his family at least once every year. I've been online for several years and have enjoyed some success on a number of occasions, still haven't made a fortune, but I believe I'm currently getting close. I'm not great at social media, but I do like to develop genuine friendships.
