Why Big Ticket Is Better Than Small Ticket Products

It's all about the money!

Let's be honest here. That's why it is better to promote big ticket products instead of small ticket products. Let's face it, if a business is not making enough money to pay the bills, then it won't be long before it closes its doors.

So the question is, can you make money promoting small ticket products? Yes you can. However, it will take a large number of sales to do so and your customers will only buy your products once. This means you will have to acquire many customers which can take lots of time and money. With big ticket products, it doesn't take too many sales and customer to be in profit.

Do The Math

Let's use a simple example: If you wanted to make $10,000 and were promoting a $10 eBook, you would need to make 1,000 sales by acquiring 1,000 customers. However, if you were promoting a $1,000 training course, you would only need to make 10 sales by acquiring 10 customers.

It just makes more economic sense to choose to promote the $1,000 training course, doesn't it?

Not convinced? Well, let's dive further and make things a little more realistic.

Acquiring A Customer

It will either cost you time or money to acquire a customer. Free traffic methods will cost you time so ask yourself how much is your time worth? While paid traffic will cost you money but will build your business faster.

Now using the about example, let's say if cost you an average of $7 to acquire one customer in the eBook scenario. In other words, you had to spend $7 every time you found one customer that bought your $10 eBook. That means you would have spent $7,000 in order to make $10,000 in eBook sales, leaving you with only $3,000 profit.

Let's apply this to the $1,000 training course. We will say that it cost you an average of $150 to acquire one customer to buy your training course. That means you would have spent $1,500 in order to make $10,000 in training course sales, leaving you with a massive $8,500 profit. Do you now see why big ticket products a far better that small ticket? Even if it cost you $200 to acquire one customer, you would still be in profit $8,000.

And that's only acquiring 10 customers instead of 1,000. It's so much easier finding 10 customers a month as opposed to 10,000.

Is It Harder To Sell Big Ticket Products?

Yes, it is much harder to sell big ticket products than it is small ticket. But it's not 1,000 times harder. This is why you find someone to do the selling for you.

Instead of trying to do the selling, convincing and explaining yourself, find a sales person to do it for you. Then pay them a small commission for every sale they make. Imagine having a team of sales professionals selling your $1,000 training course day in and day out while you just focus on getting the leads for them. You could be making 10 sales per day!

You have to ask, does a program like that even exist?

The good news is: yes it does!

MOBE

This is why I choose to promote My Own Business Education (MOBE for short).

MOBE specialise in big ticket products and coaching programs that are priced anywhere from $300, right up to $30,000. They have everything from video training courses to live seminars, one-on-one coaching and business masterminds held in luxury resorts all around the world.

If you become a MOBE Consultant, they pay 50% commissions on all the products sold to your leads, e.g. 50% commission on a $2,500 product pays you $1,250 commission. But this is the best part: all the selling of the products are done-for-you by the dedicated and professional phone sale team.

This why MOBE is the program of choice when it comes to promoting big ticket products. There is a lot more I can say about this but then this blog post will go for way too long

The main thing is to understand that big ticket products are far better at putting money in your pocket and keeping your business in profit than small ticket products.

If you don't currently promote a big ticket product, then I highly recommend you do.

MOBE is a great company you can get started with and is growing leaps and bounds. But the best way to truly understand how MOBE works is to go through the system yourself. They have a 21-step program that will guide you in everything you need to now and how to cash in on big ticket commissions. You can get started today by clicking right here.
