There are many ways to make money online. But the question is: How do you do it the smart way? As the saying goes, "work smarter, not harder."

In this post, I am going to talk about embracing the concept of working smarter with High Ticket Affiliate Marketing in your online business. The last thing you want for your business is to work really hard, but only end up earning the equivalent of 50 cents an hour!

So there are many different avenues you can choose to make money online and all require hard work and dedication. You can do it by:

• Drop-Shipping
• Affiliate-Marketing
• Creating your own products
• Currency trading and binary options (ehh, gambling :/ )
• Network Marketing
• Multi Level Marketing
• Traffic Exchanges & Ad-Sharing websites

However, as you get to working on your business to make sales, the question you need to ask is this:

"Will any of these avenues bring in the income goal I desire and make the hard work well worth the effort?"

Or let me put it another way:

"Would you rather make $15 per sale OR $1,000 per sale? Would you rather make $5 per hour or $200 per hour?"

...I'm sure you answered the latter in each question.

The simple thought you should have in your business is this: How many sales would be required on a monthly basis to achieve your income goal and the financial freedom you desire?

Making money online the smart way is to look for high ticket priced products to promote in your business. This will ensure you only need a small volume of sales in order to make the amount of money you need to achieve your income goal.

Most people will fail or give up on their online business simply because the sales might be hard to come by and when they do come, the income they bring is too small and not enough to sustain the business for the long term.

They may even think that selling smaller priced products will be easier to promote and sell.

...Well, in my experience, this is not necessarily the case. Why? Because you will find that the lower the price, the lower the product value. So in some instances, it actually makes it harder to sell.

Plus, the cost it takes to acquire the sale may leave you with a very small margin.

For example, say you were promoting an eBook and it sold for $17 which gave you a commission of $12. However, the amount you spent on advertising to get that sale was $9... You would have to make a bucket load of sales and be spending a lot of money just to make a decent profit!

Can you see how it doesn't make it worthwhile?

Promoting higher priced products can change the equation dramatically.

If the product sold for $2,000 and you got $1,000 commission. Then it makes spending $10 to acquire the sale a lot more worthwhile, doesn't it? Even spending up to $300 to acquire a sale makes it worth while because you will still be ahead by $700. It also doesn't take too many sales to make a decent profit.

Do you see how promoting higher priced products is smarter? It's simply maths!
