Top Tips To Lifelong Health

How can you kick cravings, boost your immunity and sustain your health?

I love listening to various documentaries, online information seminars and reading health books.  It allows me to educate myself and pass along this great information to you as well.

So…. how do you sustain lifelong health?  Start with these simple steps:

Kick Craving

You need to kick your cravings to the curb.  How do you start?

Boost Immunity and Fight Fatigue

  • You need a healthy gut in order to boost your immunity.  Follow the 80/20 rule (80% vegetable/20% protein on your plate).  Ensure you digest your protein properly (cook meat well, but don’t overcook it).

Why do we not digest protein well?  Some people, are deficient in Vitamin B12 which helps with producing stomach acid to aid digestion.

  • Practice proper food combining
  • Avoid sugar
  • Add fermented foods to your diet (your microbes will be fed well and help satisfy your hunger)

When  you fix your gut you will:

  • Have more energy
  • Be able to lose weight
  • Have a stronger immune system

Strategies to Sustain Health

  • Correct Your Digestion
    • Poor digestion means nutrients are not broken down for your body to use
  • Conquer Infections
    • You may be carrying around a low grade infection (tooth infection, bladder infection, yeast infection) which is causing inflammation in the body
    • Cleanse out your toxins
  • Change your diet
    • Change the oils you use  (coconut oil and olive oil are great choices)
    • Add a green smoothie or protein shake to your daily routine
    • Eat fermented foods
    • Add digestive enzymes
    • Eat by the 80/20 rule
  • Exercise
    • Find the right kind of exercise for you. Don’t over do it. Ease into something, start with walking, hiking. Etc..
