How would you answer this question?

Is the time spent and priority assigned to getting money more important than other things you value in life?

Take a moment to consider what those things are or rather who they are that comes before money, yet somehow we've lost site of what's truly important as we simply carry downwards and upwards the old Habit Rollercoaster ?.

You're probably like, "well yeah, that's life X, we have to make money to live the life we want, give to charity, church, give our kids everything we didn't have, and try to save some for retirement." Wow, did I nail it?

Don't be surprised ? , I feel the same way, however losing oneself in the pursuit of happiness disguised as money ? can lead to tons of issues. For one, let's take the giving our kids what we didn't have reason, it's a front and we all know it. If you grew up broke, busted and disgusted but was still cared for, and given an a certain amount of time and love from those whom raised you, then odds are if you're pursuing money most of the time then it's likely that you're NOT giving your kids the one true thing that you had, hence why many of our youth seem so disconnected and withdrawn.

We can blame much of our problems on the lack of money, but will an abundance of it really make us better people, or are we simply uncomfortably ? satisfied withour constant hunt for money that the results aren't even relevant to us because in order for us to keep chasing money we've got to NEVER quite catch it.

I guess, it's just life, or as my brother so eloquently puts it, "It is what it is."
