About Me
This would be the most enlightening and emotionally revealing part of the trip.Visiting our "wounded warriors" .After landing on AF Base, we'd go to accommodation and have 3 hours of downtime then have our last appointment of the day to buff next troops.The was spent in the ICU visiting wounded soldiers at medical facilities and visit several state secondary soldiers headed for further medical attention.When we had the time, some of our group traveled out of the base of a small town German and did some sightseeing in an old castle.Having had several conversations with Admiral Winnefeld on the plane all we talked about it was amazing to me was all these soldiers around the world have volunteered to serve and protect who they were not recruited. Hopefully what I've seen first hand walking in the Ground Zero during the World Series or anything like that would never happen again. "God bless our troops" can do something very simple when you see a soldier serving and pr otects this country, to say thank you! randy johnson
