Why Having High Converting Landing Pages is So Important

In the internet marketing world, email marketing a.k.a building your email list is the most important strategy that you need to implement right now.

The first interaction with your prospects / future customers is your landing page.

If your landing page fails to convert your prospects into a subscriber, then you have just lost the chance to convert your subscriber into a customer and you will not make money.

You will be saving a lot of time and money by having a high converting landing page.

Don't understand why is that so?

Let me illustrate it for you.

Let's say that there are two marketers, Adam and Eve, both uses traffic exchanges to drive traffic to their landing page, both promoting the same program, but uses different landing pages.

For every 1000 hits Adam sends to his landing page, he receives 1 subscriber.

For every 1000 hits Eve sends to her landing page, she receives 10 subscribers.

In general, if you want to get 1000 hits, you will be spending an average of 1 to 2 hours surfing them. For Adam to receive 10 subscribers, he will need to put in 10x the time! For Eve, when she found out that her landing page is converting so well, she can invest in traffic confidently and build her list hands-free without the need to surf!

From this scenario...you can see that Eve is actually saving 10x the time compared to Adam.

Another example...both John and Jane purchase solo ads to build their email list. Let us say that they spend $50 to get 100 clicks to their landing page.

John has a well optimised landing page which has proven to convert at 50% while Jane's landing page converts at 30%. For $50, John will be receiving 50 new subscribers while Jane will be receiving 30 new subscribers.

The cost per subscriber for John will amount $1.00 while Jane at $1.67 per subscriber.

Does not look a lot at this moment. But think of it long term, when both of them reach 1000 subscribers. John would have just spent $1000 while Jane $1670! That is a whopping 67% more spent! $670 is a lot of money.
