How to Turn Off Auto-Enhance in Camera on iPhone When Taking Photos

I recently had an experience where the photos and selfies I took with my iPhone 14 Pro didn't look good. This was amazing because all iPhone models have great cameras that allow users to take pictures and record videos like a pro. It also simplifies the work of many applications, including my favorite I often use it to clearly monitor how much time I spend on https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lily-plant-identification/id1570145257. The camera gave me good pictures, especially in low light, but as soon as I pressed the button, the iPhone automatically took brighter pictures. However, the end result was an overexposed and saturated photo instead of an enhanced version. Although this feature appears to improve photo quality, it can have unintended consequences. This article explains what you can do to take photos without automatic correction.

What is Auto Enhance and can I turn it off?
Photos are automatically enhanced in software if your iPhone model supports it. Apple calls this process Deep Fusion and it was introduced with the iPhone 11. Deep Fusion is a neural image processing system designed to work automatically in the background to enhance your photos. Deep Fusion is specially designed to capture higher-quality images in low-light conditions. Only available on iPhone 11 and newer models.

Some users have stated that Deep Fusion automatically changes the image immediately after capture. Users have said that the enhanced photos have different colors, are sharper, and have higher contrast than the original photos. Users said their photos didn't look natural and some wanted to stop using Deep Fusion.

And don't forget that the iPhone also uses smart HDR if you find it effective. Smart HDR is somewhat similar to Deep Fusion. iPhone uses Smart HDR instead of Deep Fusion in bright environments with regular lenses, but Deep Fusion is enabled in low light.

The bad news is that you can't turn off automatic repair or deep fusion with a button. Deep Fusion is invisible to the user. That's because this feature of Apple's Bionic processor is built into the iPhone's neural engine. Luckily, Deep Fusion works only under certain conditions. The next section explains what you can do.
