WHO KNEW?

I can’t believe the month of March is just about over and that we’re already 3 months into the new year…JUST WOW is all I can say.

I’m not sure if your aware of this tid bit or not but March, March 8^th to be exact has been coined Woman’s international Day and I didn’t want to let the month end without highlighting some amazing women.

I did a video on some of the woman in my life who have made a serious impact on me. Check it out below.

With that being said I also wanted to introduce you to some other amazing women. So, sit back and enjoy.

Now for some this may not be a surprise however it was for me as it was not on my radar and caused me to say

WHO KNEW?

I was flipping channels the other day and came across an interview with the president of Pepsi Co. to my surprise I was introduced to Indra Nooyi not only is she a woman running the second largest business in the world but she’s from India. How amazing is that. And has been named among the world’s 100 most powerful women.

The second amazing woman to hit my radar was Ursula Burns once the CEO from 2009-2016 and now the chairman of Xerox was the first black woman to head a fortune 500 company.  To her credit she was the first woman of color to succeed another woman who held that position Anne Mulcahy. She was named the 22^nd most powerful woman by Forbes  in 2014.

The third woman on my list Is Rosalind Brewer the first African American woman to run Sam’s Club. She just retired as of February 2017 and was named the 57^th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes magazine.

And the last woman on the list is Mary Barra the current CEO and Chairperson of General Motors. She worked her way up the ladder as she had served as the EVP of Global Product Development before her new gig and was named Times 100 most influential people in the world.
