About Me
Hi Folks,
I'm Loris from Italy!
I am over the 50’s, being born in 1964, and I am proud to be a member – along two wonderful boys and their beloved mother – of a beautiful family where the less beautiful being among all is just me. Beside this, I am an architect, a writer, a publisher, and dedicated to the study of Theosophy and to spiritual quest.
I was a pretty good Catholic until the age of 15, when I decided that the materialistic standpoint was best for me. I began reading Marx, Freud and other scientific matters. I deeply loved philosophy; as a matter of fact, at that time I was a sort of askeptical philosopher. But I was so skeptical that I began to doubt my new standpoint, and to doubt the doubt itself… At the age of 20 I realized that modern science is completely uncapable to explain mind and consciousness. Consciousness, again and again, was my perpetual concern. We generally take consciousness for granted, but actually it is one of the most astonishing, astounding, puzzling misteries in the universe, if we keep within the limits of the materialistic standpoint.
Thus, at the age of 20, I started reading about gnosticism, Eastern religions, esotericism, ermetism etc. I began being fascinated by the exact opposite of the materialistic standpoint: the spiritual perspective. I began being more and more convinced of the reality of karma and reincarnation. It has been a long process of intellectual and spiritual maturation that led me to embrace Theosophy, where these concepts are integrated into a new global vision of the Cosmos.
In this new global vision the Law of Attraction has a natural place, and can become a practical tool to dramatically improve our life. That I will endeavour to show to you.
Along with all above written, currently my main business is a small publishing house (GRAAL Edizioni --> http://graaledizioni.com), through which I'm publishing fiction, non-fiction and web marketing ebooks.
