When a person says that they want to know how to get free traffic to your website or blog. What are they really asking? Do they just want hits to their website in hopes that someone might buy something? Are they looking to sell their website to give the appearance to the buyer that their website is actually getting traffic.

Many website owners just want to boost their Alexa ranking so that it appears that their website is popular. There are many traffic sources that will sell you traffic just to boost your Alexa rankings. Just because a website is getting traffic does not mean that the website is making the website owner any money. All traffic is not created equal.

This is a great way to get some added exposure. Because when someone signs up to a squeeze page and is then directed to a thank you page or download page, they will see your ad. 

This is one way that successful Internet marketers get buyer leads onto their list. They will put an offer onto a member's area page or download page.

And when that new subscriber goes to the download page to get their free gift or are in a paid member's area, they are exposed to another free offer. If you are in the make money online niche and are looking for buyer leads for your affiliate offers, you are going to have to pay for them. You are going to pay for them via the search engines or solo ads. Which means you are going to have to delve into search engine PPC, or you are going to have to put up a banner on someone else's website that gets a lot of traffic in your niche. Banner ad traffic is very inexpensive compared to PPC and solo ads. You can put up a banner ad for $30 per month and get some really good high targeted traffic that way.
