Will my photos stay in the cloud if I delete them from my phone?

Usually, deleting a photo from your phone can also delete it from the cloud if the phone and cloud are synced. Many services move deleted items to a trash folder for about 30 days, giving you time to recover. If you want the cloud copy to remain, turn off sync for that item, move it to a non-synced folder, or download it before deleting from the phone. Check the specific service’s behavior because sync rules differ. For important photos, keep an independent backup that is not tied to the same sync account. Do not assume a cloud copy is safe after deleting from a synced device.
