18 This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit. 19 Joseph, her fiancé, was a good man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly.

20 As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit. 21 And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”

22 All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet:

23 “Look! The virgin will conceive a child!

She will give birth to a son,

and they will call him Immanuel,

which means ‘God is with us.’”

24 When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded and took Mary as his wife. 25 But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus.

Now suppose you were in Joseph shoes what would you do? You and this special person were ingaged, you and her had never had sex, you both were saving yourself for marriage, and before the wedding she comes to you and tells you she's pregnant -but she's never been with a man,and she claims God has Pregnated her: what would you do? I would like to share three choices I see Joseph had.

1. He could have just believed her as impossible as her story sounds, sorted this out together how to go foward with this impossible situation.

2.He could have gotten angry and wanted revenge because how hurt he was because he didn't believe her story and went on to publicly disgrace her.

3. He could have quietly broke off the engagement, and went on with his life, which is what he in is mind decided and intended to do. But here's what happened: that night in a dream God revealed to him that Mary's story was indeed true and that he could continue with his marriage plans and He did. Now can you imagine in your mind that if God had not intervened how great an opportunity he would have missed. An opportunity that would only come one time in the history of mankind. he was going to walk away from it because to him it sounded too impossible to be true.

Lets look at us how many times have we missed opportunities with our dreams and goals because we didn't believe they could come true, so we just buried them or just walked away. And like Joseph we have the same three choices.

1. We can just believe in our dreams and goals, and just put everything we have into it and never give up until we make them come true.

2.We can try and if it doesn't seem to be working get angry give up and blame other's and even try to hurt other people just because we don't believe they can come true or not willing to stay with it until it does.

3 We can just quit and quietly walk away, and return to some of the same old things we were doing before.

4. We can look within ourselves, because that is where our dreams are formed that is where we find who we are, and what we can become, this is where we become all we can be, from the inside out.

What are you going to do about your goals and dreams?

It's your choice!

What should You Do?
