How many times did Yoda say that to Luke?

There is a reason Yoda kept drilling that into Luke's
head...

And Luke LISTENED and because he took that lesson
to heart- became one of the most powerful Jedi in history!

Because it is one of the biggest universal
lessons anyone- from janitor to Jedi- must learn!

When you learn CONTROL- how to control your time
and effort- YOU will go from student to MASTER!

There, of course, is a lot in life that we cannot control.

HOWEVER- the one thing we can control above all else
is how we react to pressure and adversity,

and, if we are smart, we can control how we use our time.

Successful people all have one thing in common- they
have learned to leverage their time to work FOR them
and not be racing AGAINST it.

They have made time their friend, in essence.

Whatever business you are in, be sure to find
smart ways to leverage your time and effort!

This way YOU are the one controlling your
business and it's not the one that is controlling
YOU!

After all, one of the best parts of this whole
"online thing" thing is the time freedom and
business automation that it can provide you,
right?

I am only one person that has only 24 hours in a day,
just like you....

But through the beauty of technology
I am able to "clone" myself and be reaching thousands
of people a day with a couple clicks of my mouse!

One of the best ways to use technology to leverage
your time is to have paid advertising up and running!

It will be running in the background so you can
be doing other tasks in your business.

Things like writing emails...

Talking to people who are interested in your business...

Teaching those that you are mentoring....

You can be doing all of that
and be getting leads and signups at the same time..

For instance, you may be reading this as a subscriber
on my email list...

How did you come to be on my email list? Great question!

Answer: You entered your name and email into one of my lead
capture pages (tech) like this one shown here.

That lead capture page is where you put in your details is linked

with what is called an auto responder.

What is an auto responder you may be asking?

It is a device that allows you to follow up with people
via email, but instead of mailing them one by one, which
can be impractical and take forever, you
can reach out to them with a message all at once.

This auto responder can also be set up to send out
messages in advance so you can be regularly
mailing people with added value and information
even if you are somewhere else doing
something else.

The added value and integrity of the auto responder lies
in the fact that, once someone is your subscriber, they always,
ALWAYS on every email you send them, have the ability to
"unsubscribe" from your emails that you are sending them.
THAT makes you legal- beagle and Can-Spam compliant!

laws- yes laws...)

Back to what I was saying.....

What an auto responder is and
about the follow up messages that you can send to hunderds
or thousands of people (who gave permission by opting in to
your lead capture page)...

Example: I originally had this as JUST an email, not a blog
post, and set it up in advance to send out via my auto responder.

You may very well be reading this as an email or as a blog post
while I am off at the gym or spending time with my wife Liz.

Whichever way you are reading this is evidence of technology
"cloning" me so I can speak to you, my trusted and loyal reader
(again, thank you.) no matter where you are on the planet.

Whether you are in Caribou Maine, Malibu California, or
Marakesh...
I can reach anyone who is interested in reading this, worldwide
and
they can read it on their time 24/7.

Maybe a blog post notification came directly to YOUR
inbox because you subscribed to my blog using the form
at the top right of the page...

Or my blog post popped up when you did a search in a
search engine like Google, Bing, or Yahoo...

This blog post may have had a relevant keyword or subject
line in it for a problem you want to solve or for a question
you had.... If so, we may be meeting here for the first time.

See it took me about 15 minutes to write the original email that
this blog post started out as, another 10 minutes to edit it and
add a few tweaks and pics, and now BAM! It will be up and
running, as a clne of me, informing and helping people 24/7
for LIFE!
