After 23 Years as a Registered Nurse, I Started Looking for More Options

For more than two decades, I've worked as a registered nurse.
It's a profession I'm proud to be part of.
Nursing has given me opportunities to help people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. That's something I'll always value.
But if you've spent any length of time in healthcare, you know the profession has changed.
The demands have increased. Staffing challenges have become more common. Many nurses are working long hours while trying to balance family, finances, and everything else life throws at them.
Over the years, I found myself thinking about something that had very little to do with nursing itself.
What if I had more options?
Not because I wanted to walk away from healthcare.
Not because I no longer cared about my patients.
Simply because I wanted to know that my future wasn't dependent on a single source of income.
That question eventually led me to begin researching different business models and income opportunities outside of my nursing career.
After doing my own research, I chose to become involved with GreatLife Worldwide.
I'm not suggesting it's the right fit for everyone.
Everyone's situation is different, and everyone should do their own due diligence before making any business decision.
Recently, I recorded a video sharing some of my personal thoughts about nursing, why I began looking for more options, and what led me to this decision.

Whether you're in healthcare or another profession entirely, I think it's healthy to periodically ask yourself an important question:
Do I have enough options to build the future I want?
For me, that question changed everything.

I live in Bangor, Maine and I worked full-time as a RN at a local hospital. In 2010 I started working online Part-time after my mother was disabled by a heart attack. I wanted to build extra income to help with her health care. What started as a way to make extra income has grown into a passion! Over the last several years, it has started to come together for me.
