I used to wonder how people “got rich”. I was living paycheck to paycheck and I had no idea how to get out of the situation I was in. Secretly, I thought “rich” people only got that way by screwing other people over. It had to be that way, right? 

Until I met Wilson. Wilson was a wealthy entrepreneur inside a company I got involved in. He noticed my drive ...and also some other things about me. 

One day at an event I hunted him down and asked him one simple question. “How do I get rich”. His answer shocked me. He said “one day a time”. Then he walked away.

Thank God. Because the other day I had someone tell me “I didn’t understand because I had money and didn't have the same problems they did”. 

I smiled. I thought of Wilson. And if they would have asked me HOW I created the life I have today I would have passed along the same knowledge Wilson gave me. But they didn’t ask. They weren’t ready yet.
