Silly Gremlins and Elephants and a Marketing Lesson
Published by David Gardner — 11-10-2018 10:11:54 AM
As I was in our Marketing Facebook Group looking
over some posts the screen turned to a disabled picture
for violating something.
So likely some apparent gremlin or individual who
felt wronged by something may have filed a complaint
and FB's answer to that is to just shut it down and see
what you do.
If you are a member of our FB group, please be patient
as we contact FB and further look into the issue to make
sure we are compliant.
HUGE LESSON: You do NOT own your FB list and
need to be sure you have your own place where you have
your subscriber and contact details stored:
Like with the Now Lifestyle email Autoresponder!
If FB determines that they did not like what was on a page
or post or what you were advertising, they just up and shut
you off like turning off a faucet while someone is in the
shower and all lathered up with soap.
Same thing can happen with ANY social media channel.
Youtube, Instagram, Twitter etc....You do not own the
followers/friends, the company does.
So it does you wise to have the tools and services you can use to be in constant contact...Heck the page is shut down, but we can all still send you a message here to keep you informed.
This is all part of the growth and game of building a business.
There will ALWAYS be haters out there looking to bring you down and kick you where it hurts.
Well guess what...you gotta get back up over and over and over and those who keep getting back up are those who survive.
So how do Elephants play into all of this?
Well let me share that with you here:

Sometimes you have to roll with the punches and just take
things one step at a time.
Be sure to be strategic and get yourself set up for the
most successes even when the gremlins and trolls come
out of the woodwork.
Let's do this!
