SBS Strikes again!!!

Slept in, worked out, shopped for New years eve party and now getting some work done before dinner and a movie and wanted to shoot you a quick message.

It's all about SBS, or the disease that strikes most marketers at one point in their lives (or for some many times in their lives).

You know...Shiny Ball Syndrome!

Where the next best thing keeps coming out and drawing your attention away from what you might be working on or starting to grow with.

I have been there myself and it's like the ring from Lord of the Rings where you think it will be great, but continues to cause problem after problem.

One of the biggest is lack of focus. If you keep jumping from one program to another or one company to another, you will never allow yourself to be fully immersed in the thing that might break you through to another level.

I learned that the hard way over the years with spending thousands upon thousands of dollars (though I do not for one second feel that all was for nothing as I gained valuable knowledge and training along the way to what works and what really doesn't).

A couple years ago I even backed out of many things related to online marketing which included cancelling some memberships and unsubscribing from MANY lists where I was just bombarded with offer after offer by the same people. 

They never gave much content or advice...just buy this or buy that...No benefit at all.

So one thing you can do to end your 2018 on a positive note is to do an email cleanse:

If you do not find value out of my emails then by all mean do the same and click the button at the bottom of the email that says "Click here to unsubscribe"

You can also go with a software (free to use) called Unroll me that will compile all your emails into ONE email (thus in a way removing much of the junk from what you see daily that keeps distracting you.

I then went with the Less is more philosophy when I did get back in things...Fewer memberships or programs I would work with and focusing MORE on them.

Not spreading myself too thin.

Not being pulled in a million directions.

Focusing instead on a system that has basically all the parts needed to grow a business online (and also will do much of the marketing for me)

That makes even less work I need to do and focus on.
