I've been marketing online for a few years now and there is not much that I haven't seen or done.
One thing I've learned is that when people search online for a business opportunity they do so because they need to make money. The last thing they want is to be saddled with ongoing monthly expenses, that can cripple them financially before they can even make any money.
So I prefer to promote free to join programs that do not require a monthly fee, ever. Some money is required but only when the prospect can afford it and never on a subscription.
