If you have been on the Internet for sometime, you have probably noticed the rise of marketing products. Everywhere you turn, there is someone trying to convince you of the superiority of their marketing system. Once, a marketer has achieved a certain level of success, their next move is to jump into the very lucrative industry of marketing products: lead system, and traffic generation training, just to name a few.  Some even promise you that if you buy their powerful system, you will be able to generate leads "just like that in 15 minutes" I am both amused and saddened when I hear those claims. Amused because I know that the claim has no merit. Saddened because novice marketers are being taken advantage of, due to their lack of knowledge and their naivety as well.

I have been hoping to earn "mind blowing income" online for well over a decade. I have joined many, many income opportunities. I did both the "seminar" as well as the "webinar" thing. I bought inspirational tapes, cds and books. Still no success worth bragging about! 

I have also seen people who did not bother with any of these, and still were having success I could not explain. And then, it became obvious that the real source of success is the individual, not the tools that he or she uses.  I quickly had to come to accept that "salesmanship" is not my best suit. This understanding has, since then, immunized me against the temptations to rely entirely on tools to  get wealthy on the Internet. 

 Those who want you to believe that their systems can perform this miracle, are not being completely honest with you.  And the truth will become obvious to you (only if you dare to admit that you have been fooled), when you see yourself becoming feverishly fascinated with the latest marketing system on the market. This is a clear indication that you are not absolutely happy with the one you are currently using.

Now, you will get my point if you extrapolate a little. Let us say, that the great majority of unsuccessful marketers out there have awakened from this dream of a marketing system magically making them tons of money, do you think you will be able to generate sales by purchasing the right to resell this latest "more powerful marketing system"? I doubt it. It does not matter how good you are at selling, nobody will invest in a known "untruth". To be fair, let me recognize that these tools can be very helpful. However, I feel that they are extremely over-rated. There are some very good products out there. However, there are a lot of people who are making a fortune selling inferior products to the ill-informed. And that kind of exploitation breaks one heart. So, fellow marketers, before investing your money in any of these products, take the time to separate the truth from the hypes.
