slime. Yes the slime is real and can be made with
household ingredients today better than ever.
People are selling this stuff like they just
dropped a mixtape out the trunk of their car.
If you would have asked me 12 years ago would you
buy your daughter slime that cost 50.00 ... I
would have said hellnaw ...
Ask me again today.
In fact, you should have asked two days ago when
my oldest of 4 kiddos came to me and said, "I have
50 bucks from Christmas that I want to buy slime
online from Etsy."
First off, what you know about Etsy anyway but who
cares, it's my oldest daughter so I better
entertain this request...

At one moment she sounded like Oliver Twist -

Five different kinds of slime later and oh I
forgot to mention 27.00 additional to wrap it up
and throw it in a mailbox for shipping. The email
confirmations are starting to roll in for this
gooey, sticky, icky as it makes it way to our
door step - oh the things we do for our children.
I don’t know about you but I would never pay 27.00
for shipping on items purchased online but I did
for my daughter. And it is those moments that we
do what we do for our children without thinking...
Then my brain started working when one shipping
confirmation came in and it was a thank you
purchase note that reads:
"My name is Greg Whiteaker. I own and manage this
shop and my 15 year old son, Mark, makes slimes
that I sell."
Light bulb moment and my daughter and I started
brainstorming.
But she already beat me to the punch talking about
selling some slime she made recently to her
classmates.
