A few things about solo ads and ad swipes.

Friends this is purely from personal experience.  Please keep a few things in mind when purchasing a solo ad for your business.  We all love the traffic that a solo ad can bring.

First lets clear up the solo ad that I am using.

Solo Ad : You purchase x amount of clicks from a provider and they send your ad copy to their list.

What can we get from these solo ads?  traffic, opt-ins, and hopefully recruits into our business.

I have purchased solo ads from a few different sources and learned a couple things. I want to share them with you. So here we go.

Research your seller and ask lots of questions. If they do not take the time with you, maybe consider moving on. Ask about the niche of the list, ask about tracking and so on. Consider the source of the seller. I have had a couple solo ads that were a complete waste.

A quality solo ad blast usually is not that cheap. Somewhere in the range of 1 dollar per click. I have done ad blasts for less and received a few opt ins but nothing more, and we love opt-ins but love sign ups more.

You cannot blame your results solely on the seller though. Consider your swipe or ad copy. Did you write it or did the seller? I recommend you write your own, or use a tested one from someone you know. Alot of testing comes into play when working with ad copy. Consider this when writing it -- does your header get your attention, would you open it?

After opening would you click further to find out more?

Lastly keep in mind that honesty does help in the long run when running a solo ad. You are promoting your business and should run your ad as such. Tell them about your offer, tell them what it can potentially do for them. Assure them that being part of your team is a benefit and you will not abandon them.

Out of the differant solo ad sources out there, here is a recommendation for you to consider.

udimi a great place for quality solo ads

Thanks for reading this I hope you learned something new.
