The Single Girl's Guide to a Great Valentine's Day!

For Valentine's Day, you must have chocolates and flowers, so on Tuesday, go get them!

Find your favorite chocolates and buy yourself as many flowers as you can afford. For Valentine's Day, a big bunch of tulips might be better than one rose, so find yourself a wholesale flower shop and walk through until you see the flowers you must have.

You can often find a dozen or two for less than twenty dollars, so splurge because you are worth it, girl. As for the chocolate, find some you really like. You can go for a big heart shaped box, fancy designer chocolates or even ice cream. Take your treats home and arrange your flowers and chocolates with your other decorations.

If friends and family tell you that you're wacko, tell them that you are an awesome Valentine for yourself, whether they come along for the big day or not.

Keep your sense of humor and don't get attached to what the guys do or don't do on this day. Men are often confused about Valentine's Day and what to get or do that might say too little or say too much.

If you are dating, let him do his own thing while you do yours, and you will be a much happier and much more fun Valentine to be around. Remember, you owe it to yourself to treat yourself well so that when you do meet a great guy, you're ready to take the journey! --Kerry@DontDateHimGirl.com
