Error deciphering

The F08 code like from manuals in Whirlpool means that there is a problem with the water heating circuit. The washing machine cannot heat the water, so it gives an error.

Error F08 – when you can fix it yourself

It happens that Whirlpool gives this error without any breakdown due to a control module failure. In order to reset the code, you need to disconnect the washing machine from the power supply for 10-15 minutes. The control board will "hang up" and, perhaps, the error will disappear on its own.

If "rebooting" the module did not help, and the F08 error still lights up on the display of your Whirlpool, then the washing machine is broken.

Heating element (heater)

The heating element has burned out or is breaking through to the housing. Most often, heating elements fail due to scale (it is formed from impurities in tap water, powder residues and lint from things).
