How to Download Video from Facebook to Your Computer Without Any Software

With video marketing being so popular, creating video marketing selfies with your cell phone is a great way to get your message out to the market place.
Because I want to take the time to add a description and a call to action link along with my video, I find it difficult to upload the video marketing selfies directly to YouTube, having to type on a small cell phone screen.
Here is a step-by-step process I use to create the selfies, upload to Facebook, and then download to my computer so that I can then add the description, call to action and distribute the video to different video marketing sites such as YouTube and Daily Motion.
Steps to Download Video Marketing Selfies from Facebook to Your Computer
Step 1. Record Video Marketing Selfie

Step 2. Upload video to Facebook
It is best to upload the video to your Facebook Profile and select the setting “only me” can see the video.
Step 3. Locate Post URL
Click on the time/date under your name of the post. The post will open in the current window.
UPDATE: When downloading a Facebook LIVE video, right click on the video , select “show video URL”, copy URL and open in new tab
Step 4. Replace “www” with “m” and Copy new URL
Step 5. Open New Window and Paste New URL
Step 6. Begin Playing Video for about 2 to 3 Seconds and Stop Video
Step 7. Right Click on Video and Select Save Video As…
Step 8. Rename and Locate File You Want to Save Video
There you have it. Very simple way to download a video from Facebook to your computer without using any software.
Take the time to add a description and a call to action link to your video. This will increase your chances of generating more leads.
