About Me
A single father of 2 young adults/ my younger graduates High School this year.
I was raised by 2 teachers from The Greatest Generation, Dad was a WWII Marine. My Heroes were John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Roy Rogers and more than a few other Cow...boys ( in black & white and color) !
For sure a throwback to a bygone era. It's certainly possible I'm clinging to my God and my Guns ! I still believe in personal responsibility, but I'm happy to help someone get back on their own 2 feet.
Pretty peaceful and easy to get along with as long as you don't raise your hand to a woman, child or animal. Anybody crossing that line makes me see red !
I have a son 20 and a daughter, soon 18. For the last 20 years I’ve shaped my entire life around them, been there for them pretty much 24/7 and allowed nothing to interfere with that mission. Didn’t seem like it at the time, but I’m blessed that they’ve both been through their “teen age rough patch”. Never imagined how rough it could get ! Phew ! The good news being that how rough it got seemed to shorten the learning curve for them. You could make a case for my personal rough patch extending into my very late 30’s, however they came through theirs and emerged as very focused, goal oriented, solid young adults. They make me proud beyond belief !
So one of my goals would be to help get them through College and sounds like probably Post-Grad too, and see them get the solid start they deserve !
My children have never seen a really good economy in their days and I'd be thrilled if they could get their start seeing that happen!
Beyond that as they head off into their own lives it might be time for me to start a life of my very own. I've come to the internet determined to replace my day job with an online income that would allow for some time freedom and a semi retirement one day. That's not going to happen working for someone else . I've also lived most of my life where we can spend our winter belt buckle deep in snow, online income should allow for some geographical freedom as well ! It's nice here in the summer so some version of a "Snowbird" seems appropriate......
I'm an American who still thinks our best days could be ahead of us. As 2017 starts I'm hoping for positive change !
I'm looking forward to getting to know you and would enjoy working with you, I've learned a lot of things that work and look forward to learning more from and with you ! Never will stop learning and loving it !
