There’s a myth thats so pervasive in the entrepreneurial world.

So widely accepted, so diabolically deceptive that you probably even believe it.

Like a charming politician. Everyone loves one. They say all of the right things, they dress well, they donate to all of the right charities and make damn sure it's public record. They’ll do anything for an extra vote.

But what most people forget is, They'd do everything and more to protect their own interests; At the expense of the American people.

These types of politicians are like snakes in the grass. They will temp you to get close and when you least expect it, they’ll dig their fangs into you, injecting their lethal venom.

Now, what to do when you get bit by a poisonous snake?

Some types of venom are more lethal than others.

If you’re bit by An Australian Taipan you’d have about 10 minutes to live.

A Black Mamba can kill in 20 minutes to 2 hours.

Vipers? 6 to 12 hours. Also, The area where they bite painfully melts and coagulates.

Rattlers. 2 - 3 Days. Organ failure. Death.

Just like snakes, some lies are deadlier then others.

and depending on the severity of the snake or bite, we may have a shot of applying the anti-venom.

Thats my goal. Apply the anti-venom. Save you from some myths about entrepreneurialism that you may currently believe.

A myth that may be destroying your chances for a Full, Rich Life filled with Adventure and love.

What is it?

WORK HARD > Everything.

Entrepreneurs like Gary Vee, Grant Cardone and Daymond John from shark tank have romanticized the idea of Hard Work and Long days.

Gary Vee - "Every minute — call it 18 hours a day out of 24 — if you want this to be successful."

Grant Cardone - "Most people work 9-to-5. I work 95 hours [per week]. If you ever want to be a millionaire, you need to stop doing the 9-to-5 and start doing 95."

Daymond John - "Work. Bust your butt. Get up before everybody, go to sleep after everybody, and bust your butt. That's it."

I mean we have a plethora or well-known entrepreneurs telling us the same thing.

WORK.

and in many respects I’m not against hard work. Even the bible isn’t.

"Lazy hands make for poverty, But dilligent hands bring wealth" - Proverbs 10:4

“You shall earn your living by the sweat of your brow" - Genesis 3: 19

Even God himself worked hard.

"For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day.” - Exodus 20:11

But we weren’t gifted with just hands for work. We were gifted with minds to take on most of the heavy lifting.

The mind can do hundreds of times the work any pair of hands can do.

Thinking. The highest paid skill.

Jim Rohn (the mentor of your mentors mentor) once said,

“Poor thinking habits keeps most people poor. Not poor working habits. Most people work hard but they don’t think hard.”

David Neagle, A fella who, almost overnight, takes multiple six figure earners and makes them 7 figure earners once touted,

“At multiple 6 figures, there aren’t too many more hours you can put into a day. You can’t just ‘work’ your way into 7 figures. You just need a change of thinking.”

Why work so damn hard anyways? Because it’s easier to work your short life away and get a lucky break than it is to think hard.

These entrepreneurs say, Work hard enough and things are bound to click into place because you increase your odds of getting lucky.

Let me give you a new mental formula.

"Think hard, keep a Steady, Consistent Routine and you can work less while things click into place."

Now we begin to understand that most entrepreneurs exhaust themselves into gray hair and an early grave.

Men who preach an ideal family life but ultimately know their employees more than they know their own children.

So in many respects, I believe you to be far more brilliant that Gary, Grant or Daymond.

Because while these men have the ‘results’ for success, you now have the ingredients to those ‘results.’

That's the secret to Success and a great Lifestyle.

Work smarter.
