Has someone ever told you that you can’t do something?

Have you ever heard the phrase “be realistic” after sharing your dreams?

I’m sure you’ve heard phrases like these before.

Most of us have.

Lindsey Stirling certainly has.

Her dream was to play Violin by injecting her own flair into her performances. Some even call her a “hip hop Violinist.”

However, when she made it to the quarter-final performance of America’s Got Talent…

…she faced comments like this:

“You’re not good enough to fly through the air and play the violin at the same time.”

“I don’t think what you’re doing is enough to fill a theatre in Vegas.”

“It sounded like a bunch of rats being strangled”

If Lindsey listened to these comments she wouldn’t have the success she has today.

She used the criticism as fuel and now is one of the most viewed musicians of all time on Youtube.

Not only does she make millions of dollars…

But the very same people who rejected her and said that she wasn’t good enough…

Now repeatedly beg to work with her…

If someone tells you that you can’t do something or that your dreams are silly, ignore them.

Fight for your dreams.

Believe in yourself.

And stay hungry - Never give up!
