As I sat this past Sunday waiting to board my flight from Chicago back to Massachusetts, I reflected on something that stuck out to me from this weekend.

To be honest, I wasn't quite sure how this weekend was going to be. It is the first time my husband has come along with me on these "events" I go to.

I asked him to join me this time, "for him", not for me.

Although he supported me in going, my husband admittedly said it wasn't worth it "for him" because he thought this was going to be another one of those hyped up events and he didn't think HE'D get much value from.

And up until a few days before the event, he still had not made a final decision as to whether he'd be attending.

It was a bit awkward for both of us at first, but as the weekend progressed, I noticed something changing in him. I can't describe the change to you, but it's a "good different."

And by the end of the event, my husband had decided that from now on, he's coming to every event, no matter what.

Now I can't tell you what you'll get from coming to an event, but there's a few things that I know will happen...

You will make decisions and you'll never be the same again =)

I know this weekend has changed both of us and we're calling it a New Beginning.
