About Roger Wingfield

I have been involved in Internet marketing and online product development since 2022. I am a retired health professional developing a post-retirement career to ‘keep myself out of trouble’ and enhance my retirement income. I first started using computers when the Windows operating system was initially developed by Microsoft in November 1985 as a graphical operating system shell for MS-DOS in response to the growing interest in graphical user interfaces (GUIs). The system made the use of the PC easy and safe for the man in the street. I am largely self taught but now quite expert at using most of the applications used – “so he should be” you might say, after nearly 40 years of using the technology, initially part-time because of work commitments, but with much more time being devoted in the last 10 years or so. When I bought my first desktop computer I was told that a 40MB hard drive would probably last me for a lifetime – how wrong that advice was!! What would 40GB give one today??? My website GoGetAhead– Digital Marketing Education for All (https://gogetahead.com) has been developed specifically for those, like myself, that aspire to creating an additional income, or to those that wish to ‘sack the boss’ and become completely dependent on themselves for their income. Or indeed for those that want to combine the two, take it slowly and eventually be able to call themselves a full-time entrepreneur.

Ah, the joys of working a soul-crushing, joy-sucking, caffeine-fuelled treadmill of a job. The one where you stare blankly at your screen, pretending to work while secretly Googling “ways to make money online” or “how to fake my own disappearance and move
