You're ideal customer that you're trying to attract into your business is trying to move away from pain and toward pleasure.
But if all you talk about is "The dream" aka what's pleasurable then they might not be motivated to make a change...
They know that the lifestyle of financial and time freedom is possible but they don't have anything pushing them to WORK HARD.
So in order to motivate your prospects to take action or your team to work harder you need to intensify pain to maximize effort.
Imagine just for a second...
You're biking in the woods at a steady pace because you aren't in any hurry to reach the beautiful lake at the end of the trail.
When all of a sudden...
You look over your shoulder and see that a giant bloody grizzly bear is chasing after you with foam coming from it's mouth.
Immediately you would kick it into high gear and peddle your butt off to get away because you don't want to die...
Because you know that if the bear catches you and bites you that crap will be super painful.
But if you didn't notice the bear you would peddle at the same speed and take much longer to reach the destination.
A beautiful lake and scenery isn't enough motivation to get you to peddle as fast as you possibly can.
So if your goal is to make more money in your business I want you to imagine the worst possible scenario if what you're doing doesn't work...
Will you be stuck at a dead end job the rest of your life taking orders from some a mean boss who doesn't value you or anyone else?
If so, then take action because if you don't then things might not change for you or they could get worse until you're 60 years old looking back on your life with regret.
In life you're either moving forward or you're going backwards... there is no staying the same.
Just like in nature a tree is either growing or it's dying...
So my question is, what are you willing to do in order to get out of the lifestyle your currently living and into the one you dream about?
