When I began my journey into online marketing, I wanted MONEY! I watched videos of people making ridiculous sums of money online and it all looked SO EASY!! I began learning some valuable wisdom and as I went, I wondered what it took for them to be so successful.

I asked some and they told me I had to recalibrate my mindset and begin to see things through the eyes of a BUSINESS OWNER or ENTREPRENEUR.

What exactly did that mean?

First, it meant I needed to be constantly learning and absorbing what I was reading. 

Books that were written by successful inventors, business owners, and millionaires. In order to become any one of these things, I would need to invest a significant amount of time learning from these masters. I could listen to audio books, or watch videos, connect with leaders on social media and watch what they were doing and how. But most of all, I had to learn how to do what they were doing.

Second, I had to be willing and able to fund my journey. Yes, I would need to invest real dollars into my education, my business, my future. This wasn't a lottery if I wanted to build a successful online business that could and would support myself and my family for YEARS to come - I would need to put some skin in the game.  That would take some time and I'm still working on some of that to this day.

But it was important to me and I had to have faith that if I committed to it and followed suggestions and kept putting one foot in front of the other...I could transform myself and my business one step at a time.

Third, and this was tough for me, I HAD TO STAY FOCUSED on my vision and not allow shiny object syndrome to suck me into 17 different directions! Well after so much bouncing around from biz opp to biz opp, I finally found a business that combined everything I loved about network marketing and several systems that I'd been using as stand-alone products, that had been reconstructed in such a way that they actually worked TOGETHER!! And I'm not looking back!!
