A great way to educate yourself in matters of business, success, and life, in general, is to get familiar with books written by the giants in whatever industry you are looking to excel in.

The beauty of living in THIS era, in THIS time is that even if you don't enjoy reading, you can now LISTEN to the wisdom of the ages by creating an Audible Account and getting copies of books that you can listen to at your leisure.

Not a moment needs to be wasted anymore. You can listen while you're driving, while you're cleaning your home, while you're cooking - ANY TIME you want.

Although I am old-school and enjoy the process of holding a book in my hand and actually turning pages {there's something about the smell of opening a brand new book. }

As a child, I embraced reading as I could open a book and visit strange and beautiful other worlds and as an only child, my mother assured me that as long as I could read, I need never be lonely.  She was right!!

As I've gotten older, and hopefully wiser I've come to realize that I can also choose to read books that open my mind to new ways of doing things, learn new things to improve myself and in turn, my life! What a gift!

Are you a reader? The last two books I've read have influenced a lot of my philosophies and beliefs. The biggest revelation for me has been realizing that there are SOOO many things I thought I knew.

I've become teachable and I'm grateful for the opportunity to read still more books!

You don't have to sit down and read a book start to finish. Take it in bit-by-bit and start with just an hour a day. You could even do it in smaller bits - try half an hour to start.

The beauty is that if you allow it, your life can change!
