We must admit there are more people online not making any money than there are people making money. There are a lot of reasons for that.  some of them well know others not so much.

Almost 8 years ago now, my wife had the terrible experience of watching her most beloved little kitten, be hit by a car speeding through our quiet little neighborhood.

It broke her heart and she cried for days trying to heal the only way she could, writing her feelings down on paper, hoping to ease her sorrow and release even a little of the anguish and pain.

At the time, I was working two jobs (one as a carpenter and the other as a ramp agent (freight-handler) for the Boise airport and even though money has always been tight, I was able to pay for a web hosting package ... and I created a memorial website for her called 'All Cats Go To Heaven'.

( moment - a few tears, hard to see) ... it seemed that having a place to visit and remember her kitten the way she was, she could finally start to heal - and I thanked our Lord and Saviour for somehow giving me the ability (I don't even KNOW how I was able) to work online and create the website. I seemed to have a natural ability to read and understand the HTML/coding and some of that geeky stuff - it must be the carpenter in me.

Well, the neighborhood we have lived in for over 17 years now, has many strays (an understatement really) and while over that time we have given a home to many of these little lost loves, there were FAR more that we knew were in need of human contact, love and indeed medical attention.

We were finally able to make a deal with a local veterinary clinic called 'All Valley Animal Clinic' (we LOVE them) and were able to trap and release, so we could spay and neuter the wild ones. We clipped just the tip of their left ear so we can tell at a distance which ones we had worked with.

This, of course, took about 36 months to get the majority (all except Midnight - she is really smart and shy), so needless to say we have been handling these little guys for awhile now.

During that course of time, I was able to secure a couple of .coms to help further our cause while working locally with the VET and then came the 'Pet Food Angels' program for the very neediest in our community (We Love You Sue!).

Eventually though, the funds slowed and then stopped altogether, while the furry little guys just kept coming! 

I knew that we simply could not continue this on our own, even though the VET was giving us the greatest discount and support they possibly could.

Over the years I've been able to refine my skills to a minor degree (I'm no web-builder guru - that's for sure, lol) and picked up some association with a few guys who really DO know how to build with websites and domains.

So I bought 'Pet Food Angels.com' and thought -- if only this were a place where people could come and cherish the memory of their pets, give and support if they wished -- I knew that we could sustain our efforts and continue to help these animals.

So with that in mind, I find myself writing this page today - to ask those who are able, to contribute what's in their heart, to help fund our cause.

I'm not asking for a hand-out, I'm asking for a hand-UP. 

You see, we need this to happen quickly to continue to do this work and even SAVE the lives of some of these little ones --and while I'm not sure how fast FAST is, I do know that God does and I believe He led me here today to find out ...

We own 'All Cats Go To Heaven.com' (please visit!) and the proceeds generated from this Go Fund Me page will go to create an updated website (more socially driven) as the site is about 7 years old now (in serious need of update) and to create a NEW companion site called 'Pet Food Angels'.

So here it is - we would gladly, happily and in fact be honored to offer any of our contributors 'A Set of Paws' on our All Cats site and a pair of 'Angel Wings' on our NEW Pet Food Angels website - kind of like being a founder if you will ..!

I see so many worthy causes out there (some really crazy ones too, lol) and know while I personally would have to work this entire next year to save and accomplish this, that through the trust, love and compassion of others, we can make this very small goal happen quickly - speed is a huge factor, as time marches on.

I don't need a million dollars - we are only asking for what it will take to create the new and updated websites and continue helping those we can locally, while being able to offer 'A Place For Loved Pets' for everyone to enjoy and memorialize their loved pet.

This money will be used for updating the existing site and creation of the new one, while we continue to support the people and animals we currently work with.
