Kiribath (cuit dedans profondément crème de noix de coco pour ce riz-pudding non sucré qui est accompagné d’un goût pointu de piment appelé les « lunumiris »), wattalapam (pudding riche d’origine malaise fait de lait de noix de coco, jagré, anarcades, oeufs, et diverses épices comprenant des clous de girofle de cannelle et noix de muscade), kottu, et distributeurs (« appam »), la pâte lisse a fait cuire rapidement dans une casserole incurvée chaude, accompagnée des oeufs, du lait ou des savouries. Moyen – des influences et les pratiques orientales sont trouvées dans traditionnel Amarrez plats. Tandis que des Néerlandais et les influences portugaises sont trouvés avec la communauté de Burgher de l’île préservant leur culture par les favoris traditionnels tels que Lamprais (riz cuit en stock et cuit au four dans une feuille de banane), Breudher (Néerlandais Gâteau de Noël) et bolo Fiado (gâteau de couche de Portugais-modèle).
