I hope this finds you well and healthy...The other day I wrote you about getting Covid and wanted to give you an update.

Today is my last official day of self isolation because my symptoms have not gotten worse, nor have any new ones appeared.  Now that does not mean I am 100% in the clear.

While I am isolating from others, that does not mean I am locking myself inside a room...I have free reign of my home (my kids are either away at college or at their mothers house during this) AND have also gotten some fresh air on my back patio.

Sunday I tempted mowing the lawn as it had been over two weeks since I mowed and it was overdue.

Not sure whether it was the heat, humidity and thick grass...or lungs not being at 100% though I was out of breath at some points and sweating like crazy getting it done, though it felt good to have some sort of exercise as I had not had any for 10 days.

Today I spent time raking (we have a blight affecting all the maple trees and a lot of leaves have fallen already), trimming a bush and pulling weeds around the house...again breaking a good sweat.

I also spent most of the morning doing a cleaning of all the major areas I have touched been using the last 10 days to get the house ready for my kids (or anyone for that matter) to come back and not fear of touching something and picking it up...Fortunately the virus does not live very long on surfaces.

Any way you look at it I am grateful for not have gotten worse with my symptoms.

Yes Isolation sucks, though I am ready to get back up and at it again and back to exploring the world and living each day to the fullest.

That is one of my biggest philosophies...Enjoy each day as much as you can (which might including just sitting my ass in a hammock reading as well as other exciting activities).

We truly don't know what the next day will bring for ourselves or our loved ones so you have to make the most of it.
