Each culture has its style of communication. This means that people in groups share not only specific words, phrases, and idioms, but also have a particular format of communication. Thus, there is an aspect showing how individuals of different cultures view communicating with others. This style of communication is known as high- and low-context communication. Low-context communication is distinguished by detailed issues with specific messages. Furthermore, the main attention is paid to what is said. On the contrary, high-context communication is focused rather on assumptions and views. In addition, representatives of high-context communication pay less attention to what is said and are more centered on the understanding of what is going on. What is interesting, most police officers use the particular aspect of communication within their communities. Nevertheless, there can be some difficulties in communication between a police officer and a person who speaks English as a second language. Therefore, it is of crucial importance to examine how police officers can be trained to deal with the possible problems.

In most cases, the messages of police officers that are well understood by the mainstream audience become confusing or even challenging when directed toward an individual who speaks English as a second language. Indeed, these people may even regard the police officer with whom they are communicating based on their native culture. In this respect, it is important to prevent misunderstandings and confusions between representatives of high and low-context communication. For instance, the prevention campaign designed by Asian Media Access together with the COPS Office can be regarded as a great role model for law enforcement officers. The specific campaign is based on the idea to prevent the use of methamphetamine in Asian-American community. The strategy was focused on the cultural peculiarities of the community that, in turn, could encourage police officers to better understand how to apply this knowledge in their work. Thus, there was presented a number of group pictures of family because it is regarded as the portrayal of harmony within the group. While family is a main value in life within the Asian community, such photos will greatly influence the audience. Depending on the community of low-context communication a police officer interacts with, any collectivistic value can be taken in order to show people the connection to the ideology. Thus, the particular strategy will support developing trust and organizing citizens.

Furthermore, it is better to use positive indirect messages. In most high-context cultures, individuals use slow information processing preferring indirect messages that convey positive meaning. While a police officer who speaks English as a native language is a representative of low-context culture, he or she may face certain difficulties using a certain direct approach. Thus, if the message is deprived of a clear meaning, it allows an individual who speaks English as a second language to interpret it in his or her own way. Indeed, positive messages will maintain harmony in a group and keep high-context communities from resistance. Another affective approach to deal with the possible problems within a group is to introduce information more slowly. In high-context cultures, it is a recipient who needs to clarify information slowly absorbing it from all possible directions of the context. Thereby, when a police officer sends a message to a high-context communicator, it is usually dismissed. To avoid such problem, the information should be presented slowly for a recipient to perceive it correctly.

Therefore, to avoid difficulties in communication, police officers should be trained to distinguish peculiarities of high-context communicators in order to convey the right message to them. Although it is not easy to gain trust and mobility of citizens who speak English as a second language, it is possible to learn their way of communication.

Method 2- fix the issue manually

Before starting the procedure, make sure that there is no program on your device that is conflicting with McAfee. This method will detect the problem so that you can fix it accordingly:

• First of all, you need to press the Win + R keys on your keyboard.
• This will open the Run window on your device.
• Now, copy the following command:

"%programfiles%\common files\mcafee\platform\mcuicnt.exe" /platui personalization

• Next, you have to paste this command in the Run window.
• Now, run the above-given command and hit the OK button.
• Here, you will see the feature page on your screen.
• On this page, you need to determine if the “Firewall” option is present under ‘Current Features’.
• If it is not there, check for its availability in the Available Features.

Method 3- Turn on the firewall manually

• Open your McAfee product and go to the PC Security tab.
• Here, click on the Firewall option in the left menu.
• Now, click on the blue-colored Turn it on the button.
• The McAfee firewall has been turned on now.
• In case you do not see the blue button to turn on the firewall, then click on the Settings icon.
• After this, you need to click on the Navigation option.
• Further, tap on the Firewall and then select the option reading as Turn on.

Restart your PC and see if you still sew the “At risk” warning message.

Conclusion                                                                      

In case you do not want that firewall remains enabled all the time, then you may disable it again once the issue is resolved. Sometimes, keeping the firewall turned on may hamper other activities on your Windows device.
