The other day I went for a brisk walk and tried to run a little again and am glad to report I did not die in the process.

It's been over a week again since my last broadcast as I have been "getting back to normal" after having COVID (more of an annoying stuffy nose, cough once in a while and burning in the chest when I sneezed).

I was released from my quarantine so it has been getting into school some and trying to get my classroom ready, getting my girls back (school shopping and playing taxi between sports and work schedules), going out on some fun dates and even a trip to Canada.

I have also been trying to get back into the fitness aspect of things while my body recovers and while I have done some walking I had not ran or lifted any weights since around August 12.

While I was not crushing any running records by any means I was glad to be able to run even the 1/2 mile I did without totally feeling like death.  The other 3.5 miles I did walking at a brisk pace with another short run in there as well which happened Wednesday this week.
